Earlier today, I was talking to my little sister, and, as always, I said "I love you."
She looked at me with her beautiful green eyes and said "I love you too, sissy. Do you love you?"
"I love you."
"Well, yeah, I love me too, but do you love you?"
"Yes," I lied. "What's your favorite thing about you, Press?"
"Well, Jesus made me like this," she said while putting her hands on her little hips. "So I love everything."
Holy crap. She's right. My 5-year-old little sister is more level-headed than I am. Really though, how often do we forget that? How often do we fall into hatred for ourselves before realizing that the God of the universe crafted each of us differently and beautifully? Psalm 139:14 tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made; do you treat yourself like it?
